9 representatives from Burapha University (BUU) from Thailand visited TNUA on 20 Dec. The main highlight of this visit was signing the collaborative agreement between universities. The president of BUU, Associate Professor Dr. Watcharin Gasaluck also reach TNUA for signing the contract In addition, we are warmly invited BUU to attend the performance “The Rite of Spring”, which is presented by the Department of Dance of TNUA.
The Department of Traditional Music (Chair of Traditional Music, Hsiu-Jen Jian and Associate Professor, Ling-Huei Tsai), Filmmaking (Chair of Filmmaking, Jaw-Chyang Terng), Dance (Professor Cheng-chieh Yu and Professor Yatin Lin) and Music and Image Trans-disciplinary Program (Professor Shao-ting Sun) guided the BUU representatives tour of their teaching spaces.
Besides, BUU arranges a traditional Thai dance workshop for TNUA students from the Department of Traditional Music and Dance, Professor Cheng-Chieh Yu and Professor Yatin Lin also join the workshop. It is led by Mr. Noppon Jamroenthong, Deputy Dean for Education and Student Development, workshop assistant Visaka Sae-Ui, Dr. Pimonpan Lertlam and Mr. Padparadscha Kaewploy. We also encourage the students to consider exchange programs at BUU to develop a more international perspective.
