MOE-TNUA Elite Scholarship Program Scholarship for Lecturers from South and Southeast Asia

ELIGIBILITY

Doctoral/Master degree-seeking applicants who are currently university lecturers or professors in South and Southeast Asia and expected to admit Doctoral/Master degree programs for the first semester of the 2026 academic year.
Applicants for an Elite Scholarship must apply directly to Taipei National University of the Arts for foreign student admission of Fall Semester, 2026. Foreign student admission period starts from January to March, 2026. (to be confirmed by mid-December) The enrollment term is the Fall semester of the 2026 academic year.
Please note that admission applications and scholarship applications are separate. An applicant who receives this Elite Scholarship award is NOT guaranteed a TNUA entrance admission, and vice versa.

受獎資格：

東南亞及南亞國家大學講師預計於115學年度上學期錄取入學之碩士及博士生。
此獎學金受獎者必須依2026年外國學生招生簡章規定申請本校外國學生入學，115學年度申請時程擬於今年12月中前公告於本處官網；其入學學期為115學年度秋季學期。
請注意獎學金申請文件與北藝大申請入學文件是分開作業的；獎學金獲獎生並非表示取得北藝大入學資格，反之亦然。

STUDY YEAR

Commencing from 2026 Fall Semester

就讀學期：

DRUATION OF SCHOLARSHIP

3 Years (In PH.D. program/ Review annually) l 2 Years (In Master programs/ Review annually)

*To receive the two/ three-year continuous scholarship, the student’s average score must achieve a minimum 80 in his/her previous academic year.

各級學位最長補助期限：

受獎生之前一學年學業平均成績應達80分以上，始得續領獎學金。

AMOUNT OF SCHOLARSHIP: NTD 25,000 per month

*The scholarship doesn’t include full tuition waiver. Students will need to pay tuition fee and credit fee.

獎助內容：每月2萬元5仟元獎學金補助受奬生。

本獎學金不含學雜、學分費全免，受獎生仍需繳交學雜、學分費。

STUDENTS MAY NOT APPLY IF THEY

Hold Taiwan (R.O.C.) nationality or have the status of an overseas Chinese student.
Are enrolled or have retained admission in a university in Taiwan. (This restriction does not apply to students who are on course to graduate and will be pursuing their next degree; however, they must still be a lecturer from a South or Southeast Asian country.)
Previously studied in Taiwan for a degree at the same level.
Are exchange students or dual-degree students through a partnership agreement with an institution overseas.
Have already received stipends through this program for more than three years.
Have been awarded by foreign governmental institutions or scholarship from a Taiwan (R.O.C.) government agency to support their studies in Taiwan.

惟有下列情形之一者，不得申請本計畫補助款：

NOTE

Recipients are NOT allowed to receive TNUA International Student Scholarship during the offered period of this scholarship.
Recipient who violates Taiwan’s laws and regulations, who is subject to serious disciplinary action, or who withdraws or is expelled from TNUA shall have their scholarship revoked.
Recipient who goes overseas to another country as an exchange student or dual/joint degree student and unauthorized departure from Taiwan without the consent of the Ministry of Education will have their Taiwan Scholarship revoked. They are not permitted to retain the still unused part of their scholarship or have the award period extended for them to be able to resume receiving the original scholarship when they return to Taiwan.
