As the world faces an aging population, Japan is at the forefront of this demographic shift. The Ehime Prefecture has teamed up with Tokyo University of the Arts to launch Art Venture Ehime Fes 2025, with an open call running from April 30 to June 22.<\/span>

This art festival aims to revitalize local communities by integrating art with regional culture and encouraging citizen participation. The festival will run for over two weeks, from October 18 to November 3, 2025.<\/span>

Explore four regions and eight exhibition zones\u2014a unique opportunity to research on-site and create locally rooted works! Ehime Prefecture, Tobe Town, Imabari City, and Uchiko Town will all serve as your creative playgrounds. Artists selected in the first round will also be eligible for a \u00a5100,000 grant (approx. NT$22,000) to support their creative activities.<\/span>

The judging panel features some of Japan\u2019s most renowned artists, with President Kai-huang Chen of Taipei National University of the Arts as the only international juror.<\/span>

\ud83d\udd25Professional documentation and interviews will be carried out, preserving the creative process as part of local cultural heritage.<\/span>
